BOSTON (Thomson Financial) - NeuStar Inc. said Monday it won a U.S. Department of Commerce contract to operate the ".us' Internet domain name registry. NeuStar's original registry contract was awarded in June 2001 and is due to expire on Oct. 25, 2007. The new contract term is for a base of three years beginning Oct. 26 with the possibility of two one-year extensions. Shares of the Sterling, Va.-based technology company closed Friday at $35.04.
